TIMED RELAY 'ECO-SWITCH' CONTACTOR (H.I.D. SWITCHING UNIT)

A MULTI USE Switching Unit (Contactor) with BUILT IN RELAY TIMER for use with High Intensity Discharge bulbs, such as High Pressure Sodium or Metal Halide.
A contactor ensures that lights are switched on 'gently' - it allows the high level of power needed for H.I.D. bulbs to pass through without fusing the timer. No timer means no lights going off at the required time, resulting in unhappy plants. This unit is designed to hang neatly in a grow tent, providing TWO timed sockets for lights, ONE timed socket for a fan, ONE relay timed socket for a heater and ONE constant socket for any other item such as a fan controller. Maximum overall input is 1200 watts.
